Coverage at its best

"Land is about the only thing that cannot blow away" ANTHONY TROLLOPE

Horse racing is generally 'Theatre in the Round', the exception being Newmarket Heath, where the cameras are situated on the stands side of the course - they should also function from the far running rail - shooting reverse angle from 'eye level' as the horses power to the finish (it's where the photographers go) - this is not possible from the stands side, because the cameras have to be sited high in the stands.

"Never be afraid to try something new – remember a lone amateur built the ARK – a group of professionals built the Titanic."

Race record times are beaten on courses virtually every season, but almost seem to come as an after thought - this must change.

"Our horse is too small, our jockeys too big, our trainers too old, and I'm too old to know the difference!"
